Architecture
I first went to the library to take pictures because one of my favorite things to do is read. Ever since I was little I loved coming here so I wanted to convey that. One thing that was tough about getting these pictures was the windows. They are like mirrors so I had to try and not get a car or myself in the picture. In the end I am very happy with how they turned out.
The second place I went to was the old Ypsilanti Train Station. I have had a lot of photoshoots here for family and friends, and I just love the way it looks. A challenge I had was that there was a party being set up inside and I had to work around all the people. Luckily they were nice enough to move for a second so I could get a picture. I think that these are my favorite pictures just because I love this place.
For my third pictures I went to an abandoned place across from the train station. I believe it used to be like a ticket place for the station but I'm not sure. But I really likes how this building looked and I wanted to try and capture it. A hard part about it was that the sun was just in the right spot to cause a glare on my camera. Luckily I was able to get a few good ones that I really like.
Just cross the street I saw these buildings that were all different colors. I thought that they looked so cool and vintage. I grew up in Ypsilanti so I had been to Depot Town before but I never really noticed these buildings. It was pretty easy to get these pictures besides all of the people. But luckily there were not a lot there so I was able to get some pretty good pictures.
The last place I went to was the old firehouse. I had never been to it before but my mom said she thought it was really cool and I should take pictures of it. I love how these turned out. It was only hard to get the whole building in the picture because I had to go across the street and there were a lot of cars. But they turned out pretty good, I think that the vines on the building made it look even better too.
